Manchester United is truly embarrassing. Predicted to be superior to Newcastle because they played at Old Trafford, Man United actually surrendered 0-3 in the 4th round of the 2023/2024 Carabao Cup, Thursday (2/11/2023)

Newcastle scored two goals in the first half, via strikes from Miguel Almiron (28') and Lewis Hall (36'). Joe Willock closed Newcastle's party in the 60th minute.

Man United had almost no golden opportunities at all. There are no opportunities that can really threaten Newcastle, so expecting Man United to reverse the position is very unlikely.

With this result, the defending champion fell too early at the hands of a dark horse team. Newcastle itself progressed smoothly to the quarter-finals.
